Lagniappe Candle Company Ring Reveal And Review

Just over a week ago, I shared with you, Part 1 of my Lagniappe Candle Company review: "Melting Hearts One Jewelry Candle At A Time," in our "Pay It Forward" series for small businesses. I talked about what Lagniappe Candle Co. offered, how to purchase Lagniappe candles for yourself and how to stay up-to-date with new products, scents, sales, giveaways and more. I also shared the two very special women behind Lagniappe Candle Company! My experience with their company is one of many that you'll find floating around the internet, whether it be through Youtube videos of ring reveals or messages of "Thank You for the great product" on Facebook."

Today, I'd like to share with you my review of the actual products, because the candles from Lagniappe Candle Company deserve praise. To be honest, I don't think my words can do their candles justice. I can tell you the scent of each candle below was out of this world. In fact, they were some of my favorite scents yet. I can tell you I made a video, just to tell you about the cold throw alone, because it was just that impressive. I can tell you when the candles were lit, I was in scent heaven, and those scents lingered long after the candles had been blown out.

I can tell you how impressed I was with the quality of the jewelry, and not just because I had received my first marked ring ever, but because you could tell how much thought was put into each piece. I can tell you the looks on my four and five year old daughters' faces when they saw their surprises, that were specifically hand-picked, and again extremely well thought out. I can tell you all of this, but it still would not do Lagniappe Candle Company justice.

 Cool Water Candle

Words cannot describe how much I've fallen in love with this scent! Within a few minutes, my home was filled with the wonderful scent of my favorite cologne. Even an hour after I had blown the Cool Water Candle out and had left, my husband had called and asked what had made our home smell so good. I explained it was the Cool Water candle. This is a perfect scent for both men and women, but if you're looking to get your boyfriend, husband, father, brother, etc. into your candle addiction, this is the perfect scent to go with. This scent brings together a fresh and modern fern-like scent with a citrus top note enhanced by a hint of green, with a heart of flowers on a background of amber, musk, moss, sandalwood, and cedar.

What Jewelry Came In My Candle?

 I cannot tell you how excited I was when I discovered this gorgeous ring inside of my Cool Water candle from Lagniappe Candle Company. I've watched hundreds of ring reveal videos and have seen so many rings that have been marked with the special "925," but had never been lucky enough to receive one myself. That was until Lagniappe Candle Company turned my luck around. I've always been very lucky in the ring size department, always receiving a ring that fits perfectly to my fingers. I can't begin to explain how happy I was when I discovered my first ring that was both marked and fit perfectly!








This is by far the most beautiful ring I've ever received from a company. To be honest, the fact that it's marked holds no weight when it comes to the reasons I fell in love with this ring. This sterling silver ring comes with a double band and three stones, in the center is an oval shaped stone with a stone on each end as well. I'm still doing research so I'll be sure to update you with details on the name of the stones soon. The ring is marked with 925 both inside the band and right underneath the setting. This ring begs to be worn everyday and attracts attention wherever I go. I love love love it! It really shows off the quality that Lagniappe Candle Company has when it comes to the rings they select!

Blackberry Sage Tea Candle

This candle scent is undeniably delicious. The sweet smell of blackberries that fill the air make this the perfect scent for spring and summer. I love lighting this candle first thing in the morning and just before bedtime. It truly is the perfect start and end to every day and a must have if you've yet to try it. I've read so many great reviews from others who've tried this yummy scent, but to really find out just how amazing Blackberry Sage Tea is, you have to experience it for yourself. 

What Jewelry Came In My Candle?

I fell in love with the scent of Lagniappe Candle Company's Blackberry Sage Tea candle and this next ring emulated that perfectly. This too, had a split band in gold, with a setting that came with a heart stone. This ring fit like a glove and is the perfect accessory no matter what I wear. 

Though it's not marked, it doesn't have to be for me to fall in love with it. I couldn't have asked for a better ring to go with summer scent! Just how the scents blend perfectly together to make the must-have candle of the summer, this ring's colors work together to create a beautiful piece of jewelry!

Strawberry Cheesecake Candle

Lagniappe Candle Company will make candles for anyone including kids. Lagniappe made custom candles for both of my daughters and I couldn't have asked for a better scent for their first candle. I'll admit, I've become a bit jealous, so to get my fill of this delicious scent, their candles are lit everyday. Lagniappe has done an amazing job of opening my eyes to more scents like this because Strawberry Cheesecake is just that good. It makes me wonder how much I've been missing out on. These special candles arrived with very special and custom surprises in each one. (Once we reach the surprise in the candle, we'll update this with photos and a video or the reveals.)

I was given a sneak peek into what each one was, and again became quite jealous, but my daughters will love them and that's what's important. I loved that from the second my children opened their candles, you could instantly see how they were carefully decided upon from Lagniappe. They surprised us with the scent, color, size and surprise. Each was adorned with sparkles and this scent is a must if you're looking to purchase a candle for your kids. The bright look of the candle, makes it fun for kids too. The thought that went into these, proves just how much dedication Lagniappe Candle Company has in making sure their candles are loved by all ages. 

What Jewelry Came In My Kids' Lagniappe Candles?

I was worried my kids would be inpatient, having to wait for the candle to burn down, but surprisingly, it only made their anticipation and excitement grow. Plus, there was no way I was about to ruin this delicious strawberry cheesecake candle, no matter how many puppy dog faces I received. The kids candles from Lagniappe Candle Company are not only customized, but make the jewelry reviews even more fun then they are for adults.

Brynley received an over-the-top adorable necklace from Lagniappe Candle Company. I like to call it a princess pig adorned with tiny jewels all over and has heart cut-outs on its back. Lagniappe Candle Co. couldn't have picked a more appropriate jewelry piece for Bryn.

She's definitely a girly girl who loves to play dress-up, watch her princess movies, and yes, sing the "Frozen" song on a daily basis. This necklace fit her personality to a T, and her day doesn't start until her special princess necklace is on. This necklace is proof of just how far Lagniappe Candle Company will go to make sure not only adults, but kids will have a fun, customized experience with their candle.

Addyson is the type of kid who wants to be all done up in her finest "Wonderland Clothes" (her name for clothing only princesses would wear), and she has extremely particular tastes. Even with her strict 4 year old standards, I was not worried after seeing what Bryn had received. Little did I know, her soon-to-be-opened jewelry prize, was about to be the new standard in how she dressed.

Addy received a necklace that came with a beautiful white heart adorned with multi-colored jewels in clear, pink, blue and green. The look on her face was priceless when she realized Lagniappe Candle Company had sent her a "Wonderland" necklace. The colorful jewels sparkled in the light and the necklace was the perfect accessory to her princess-like clothes.

These hand-picked jewelry pieces brought smiles to both my kids' faces and each made them feel like a princess in their own way. A million "Thank Yous" is not nearly enough to express my gratitude to Lagniappe Candle Company for the hard work and love that were put into these kid's jewelry candles.

Melting Hearts One Jewelry Candle At A Time - Lagniappe Candle Co. Review Pt. 1

After my experience with Lagniappe Candle Company, I had realized this definition was not only the perfect name for to describe their products, but more importantly, it fit the amazing people behind this company. Lagniappe Candle Company is a business that not only makes it easy to come back to because of the quality of their candles, but because of the service you receive. When a company's fan base grows, sometimes it's personalized feel can go down, but Lagniappe Candle Company, growing more and more popular by the day, made my experience memorable and one that deserved to be recognized and shown off.. 

Taylor Bice turned her love of candles with jewelry into a full time job and now runs a company that offers candles that contain a piece of jewelry with a retail value of $40 – up to 1,000 dollars. So how did Lagniappe Candle Company come about?

It's not everyday that you find out a 15 year old (now 16) owns their own company, so I was instantly intrigued to learn more about who Taylor was and why she started a candle company. Taylor wanted to turn her love of candles that offered jewelry into a full time job, but it took more than pouring candles and shipping them to get there. Taylor made a business plan and presented it to a few clients at an investment firm she worked part-time at. Experiencing Taylor's candles first-hand, these investors made the right decision! 

Taylor hand selects each jewelry piece and if it isn't something she wouldn't wear herself, she'd never put it in a candle for someone else. Taylor makes every candle, from scent selection to pouring to the custom labels. How does Taylor decide what scents to offer? Some scents are randomly selected and others are inspired by who she is, like New Boots Y'all. That's just a part of Taylor's personality! 

As a teenager, Taylor has not only impressed me with her company, but her character as well. Taylor donates the entire amount of sales from every Home Sweet Home candle sold to send care packages to deployed military and is involved with Wounded Warrior Projects. She's not your average teenager. We've all been teenagers at one point in our lives and the last people we wanted to listen to were our parents. Taylor, on the other hand, knows when to ask mom for help. Taylor's mother, Laurie Bice, takes care of all the shipping and promoting of Lagniappe Candle Company. I've had the pleasure of speaking with Laurie on several occasions and she instantly makes you feel like you've been friends for years. 

Besides living and working together, this dynamic duo technically goes to school together, as Taylor is home schooled by her mother, Laurie. But for this mother/daughter team, being together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week has only brought them closer, making them best friends and it comes through in Lagniappe's candles! The care and attention I received was more than impressive, but more importantly, this family run company treats you like family, and that's more than enough for me.

I cannot say enough about my Jewelry In Candles Rep Sheila Bourland. She went way above and beyond what a rep is supposed to do, all because she cares. Being my first experience with Jewelry In Candles, Sheila alone, has made me not only a fan for life, but a customer as well. She treated me as if I was her only customer the entire way through the process, even after I received my order. Seeing as this was my first time, there were so many scent choices to choose from, and let me tell you, they weren't easy decisions to make. Every scent Jewelry In Candles comes out with, just gets better and better. Narrowing down my favorite scents took a while, but Sheila stuck with me the entire time. In the end, we decided she'd surprise me with the scents and whether it was a candle or tart, which I personally loved. I loved that no matter what was going to show up at my doorstep, was going to be great no matter what! Sheila had such a great attitude and worked extremely hard. Not once was I concerned that I was just another sale. If anything, I felt like I was a good friend of hers. She was so sweet and wanted to make sure I loved everything I received. After telling her my jewelry choices and sizes, Sheila contacted me when she placed the order. She contacted me letting me know about how long it would be. She contacted me letting me know when they shipped. She contacted me right after they arrived. She also contacted me to see if I had done my jewelry reveals. If that's not outstanding customer service, I don't know what is. Normally I'd say she went the extra mile for me as a customer, but Sheila went beyond that. She went the extra 100 miles to make sure my experience was unique, entertaining, fun and more. Hands down, I was given the best customer service of my life with Jewelry In Candles.

What I Received from Jewelry In Candles!

When I opened the box from Jewelry In Candles, I was instantly shocked. On the website it says that Jewelry In Candles' Wax Tarts are much bigger than typical wax tarts, but looking at the pictures just don't do them justice. They were not kidding. What word perfectly describes the size of their wax tarts? Huge, Enormous, Gigantic..... I can keep going! Besides the size, the other great thing about Jewelry In Candles wax tarts is there's no guessing. You don't have to melt 6 wax tarts to find your jewelry. They make it easy, letting you have a mini sneak peek of the foil that holds your special luxury jewelry. This way, you can break your jewelry wax tart off, pop it in your wax warmer, and ten minutes later, you're graced with the presence of your new, perfectly-sized piece of jewelry just begging to be worn. Let's get into the scents I received!

Day At The Spa Wax Tart: Whether the kids are away at grandma's for a sleepover and you've got the house to yourself or it's a lazy Sunday, Day At The Spa from Jewelry Candles takes you to a place of serenity, relaxation, and peace, just without the massage. Not only was I impressed with the scent, but the color and size as well. On cold sniff, it was extremely strong and pulled me in with it's aromatherapy scent. Breaking off just one melt from this breakaway tart, was all it took to bring me to spa-like oasis without the high cost of going to a spa! Right at the top of my tart package, it was marked with the letter N for necklace which I loved. There was no guessing. Not only do they let you pick your jewelry, but they let you choose what type of jewelry you'd like to reveal first after you receive your tarts! Normally, I'm a silver kinda gal, but I was extremely impressed with my jewelry piece. The necklace was absolutely gorgeous and was just begging me to be worn! Overall, Day At The Spa receives a 10 out of 10 from me and I would recommend this to anyone whether they were knew to Jewelry In Candles or a seasoned veteran.

Birthday Cake Wax Tart: As a baker, you'd think I'd fall in love with all bakery-scented candles and tarts, but that's not always the case. Some are just too sweet for me, but Jewelry In Candles hit the mark on this one. This yummy scent, wasn't too strong or overpowering! In fact, it fills your home with the sweet and delicious smells of buttery, creamy and vanilla notes without the calories! My Birthday Cake wax tart, just like Day At The Spa was marked, letting me know I'd be revealing a ring! Though the ring didn't have any type of jewel on it, what I loved was that it was different from any other piece I had. Of all the other companies, this was the first jewelry piece that had more of an art-like appearance to it and less of a sparkly/showy appearance. I didn't mind. In fact, I really enjoyed it. I'm someone who really enjoys anything that's different. I've yet to reveal a piece of jewelry I don't like. Jewelry In Candles impressed me with both wax tarts and created an experience that was both unique and fun!
