Amber's Sassy Creations May Wax Sampler Review

In the past two to three months, I've virtually met and talked to hundreds of people through Facebook wax groups. I've been able to share my love of wax and have been introduced to wax vendors I would have never found on my own. Within an hour of becoming a member of a brand new wax group, I met Amber and I was instantly impressed with her hard-working attitude.

Who Owns Amber's Sassy Creations?

Sure, great-smelling wax products can make anyone fall in love with a wax company, but customer service is what can make or break a business. Amber, the owner of Amber's Sassy Creations, has made me a fan for life, based on her customer service alone. She is caring, understanding, patient, beyond helpful, hardworking, and ready to answer any question you have (even if it's 3am.). When my package arrived, it wasn't just wax that was inside, it was hard work, love and care. Oh and it was packaged extremely secure too! As a parent, Amber is someone I look up to. She has a family of her own to raise, but that doesn't stop her from putting 100% into every single piece of wax she works on. 

My Experience with Amber's Sassy Creations

I was very impressed with everything, from how secure every wax product was packaged to the adornments to the delicious smell of every scent. I love that Amber not only offers wax, but candles, wax warmers, and beautiful pieces. What's my favorite part of Amber's Sassy Creations? Well, as I said above, it's FUN. I loved my entire experience. I loved looking through every scent she offered, finding so many I've never tried, some that were her own creations, and even some that I had never seen anywhere else. I loved picking colors for some of my wax melts and the color choices were extremely unique. Let's just say, they weren't your average red, pink, purple, etc. I even needed her to explain one of the color choices to me. Most of all, I loved that it was kid-friendly. What do I mean by that? Well, I want to share my love of wax with everyone and that includes my kids, who're involved in every aspect of my life and that includes my wax addiction.

Anytime a box arrives, they're right there with me, smelling every piece of wax and helping to put it in our special area of the house dedicated to just wax. Having scents that my kids love is important to me, whether it's the bedtime bath scent that Amber offers or it's a scent that combines their two favorites Fruit Loops and bubblegum. Not only was I able to get kid-friendly wax scents, but kid-friendly wax shapes too. The animal-shaped wax tarts were just too cute and I knew my kids would love them, but there's more! Everything from Hello Kitty, Pooh Bear, cupcakes, cookies and donuts to butterflies, flowers, hearts and actual shapes likes squares can be found in Amber's shop. How could kids not love these? Plus, her Hello Kitty jewelry is a perfect kid-friendly gift and if you're looking for a unique warmer for your young ones, they're sure to love the beautiful and bright-colored wax tart warmers she offers. 

Loopy Bubblegum Soy Shot

I absolutely adore this scent! Bubblegum with hints of Fruit Loops combine to make this scent shot a must-have this summer.This 2oz. scent shot is more than enough to fill your home with this creative combination of sweets without being overpowering. I loved that when I flipped the scent shot over, the bottom was adorned with sparkles that matched the scent. Plus, the adorable hot pink ladybug flat back bead that's on top, adds to the charm of this scent!!!

Cranberry Marmalade Soy Shot

This brand new scent from Amber's Sassy Creations made my day! Adorned with a purple jeweled flat back bead, this scent combines tart cranberries, spiced apples and fresh orange zest to turn your house into a home. Imagine going apple picking and you decide to stop into the local shop that's located on the farm to pick up your favorite jams, pies, doughnuts and ciders. That scent you smell when you first walk into the store is the best way I can describe this scent. It's that smell that you always want your house to smell like, but can never achieve, no matter how many jams, jellies or pies you make. This scent shot takes care of that for you.

Butterfly Kisses Large Butterfly Tart

You'll be showered with both kisses and floral scents with this beautiful butterfly! The large butterfly tart gives you springtime year round with more than a generous amount of wax.This scent combines roses and carnations in a bouquet that instantly brings the smell of Spring into your home. The vibrant color and unique detailed features only add to this butterfly tart.

Coconut Fizzy Lime Butterfly & Hello Kitty Wax Melts

When in doubt, you can never go wrong with this scent! I love the freshness that it exudes and it's perfect for enjoyment year round! The adorable butterfly and Hello Kitty shapes only add to the already amazing scent. Each wax melt contains the delicious scent of coconut and packs a punch with fizzy lime, combining to make a scent that brings freshness to life.

Mango Peach Salsa Mixed Shapes Wax Melts

This refreshing, energizing and invigorating scent awakens your senses and invites summer in. These wax melts combine fresh island mango, citrus lime and fresh peach to bring the long-awaited summer to you. Bedtime Bath Animal-Shaped Tarts

 This scent is a must-have if you have children. In fact, if you love calming scents, you don't want to miss out on Bedtime Bath. We always have Bedtime Bath, both bubble bath and body lotion, in our home for our kids. This wax scent is so calming for kids and is one of my favorites from Amber's Sassy Creations. The lavender mixed with chamomile is the perfect combination for total relaxation and melting it just before bedtime, helps both kids and adults. I decided to get these for my kids in the adorable animal shapes that Amber offers and in their favorite color.

I cannot say enough about my Jewelry In Candles Rep Sheila Bourland. She went way above and beyond what a rep is supposed to do, all because she cares. Being my first experience with Jewelry In Candles, Sheila alone, has made me not only a fan for life, but a customer as well. She treated me as if I was her only customer the entire way through the process, even after I received my order. Seeing as this was my first time, there were so many scent choices to choose from, and let me tell you, they weren't easy decisions to make. Every scent Jewelry In Candles comes out with, just gets better and better. Narrowing down my favorite scents took a while, but Sheila stuck with me the entire time. In the end, we decided she'd surprise me with the scents and whether it was a candle or tart, which I personally loved. I loved that no matter what was going to show up at my doorstep, was going to be great no matter what! Sheila had such a great attitude and worked extremely hard. Not once was I concerned that I was just another sale. If anything, I felt like I was a good friend of hers. She was so sweet and wanted to make sure I loved everything I received. After telling her my jewelry choices and sizes, Sheila contacted me when she placed the order. She contacted me letting me know about how long it would be. She contacted me letting me know when they shipped. She contacted me right after they arrived. She also contacted me to see if I had done my jewelry reveals. If that's not outstanding customer service, I don't know what is. Normally I'd say she went the extra mile for me as a customer, but Sheila went beyond that. She went the extra 100 miles to make sure my experience was unique, entertaining, fun and more. Hands down, I was given the best customer service of my life with Jewelry In Candles.

What I Received from Jewelry In Candles!

When I opened the box from Jewelry In Candles, I was instantly shocked. On the website it says that Jewelry In Candles' Wax Tarts are much bigger than typical wax tarts, but looking at the pictures just don't do them justice. They were not kidding. What word perfectly describes the size of their wax tarts? Huge, Enormous, Gigantic..... I can keep going! Besides the size, the other great thing about Jewelry In Candles wax tarts is there's no guessing. You don't have to melt 6 wax tarts to find your jewelry. They make it easy, letting you have a mini sneak peek of the foil that holds your special luxury jewelry. This way, you can break your jewelry wax tart off, pop it in your wax warmer, and ten minutes later, you're graced with the presence of your new, perfectly-sized piece of jewelry just begging to be worn. Let's get into the scents I received!

Day At The Spa Wax Tart: Whether the kids are away at grandma's for a sleepover and you've got the house to yourself or it's a lazy Sunday, Day At The Spa from Jewelry Candles takes you to a place of serenity, relaxation, and peace, just without the massage. Not only was I impressed with the scent, but the color and size as well. On cold sniff, it was extremely strong and pulled me in with it's aromatherapy scent. Breaking off just one melt from this breakaway tart, was all it took to bring me to spa-like oasis without the high cost of going to a spa! Right at the top of my tart package, it was marked with the letter N for necklace which I loved. There was no guessing. Not only do they let you pick your jewelry, but they let you choose what type of jewelry you'd like to reveal first after you receive your tarts! Normally, I'm a silver kinda gal, but I was extremely impressed with my jewelry piece. The necklace was absolutely gorgeous and was just begging me to be worn! Overall, Day At The Spa receives a 10 out of 10 from me and I would recommend this to anyone whether they were knew to Jewelry In Candles or a seasoned veteran.

Birthday Cake Wax Tart: As a baker, you'd think I'd fall in love with all bakery-scented candles and tarts, but that's not always the case. Some are just too sweet for me, but Jewelry In Candles hit the mark on this one. This yummy scent, wasn't too strong or overpowering! In fact, it fills your home with the sweet and delicious smells of buttery, creamy and vanilla notes without the calories! My Birthday Cake wax tart, just like Day At The Spa was marked, letting me know I'd be revealing a ring! Though the ring didn't have any type of jewel on it, what I loved was that it was different from any other piece I had. Of all the other companies, this was the first jewelry piece that had more of an art-like appearance to it and less of a sparkly/showy appearance. I didn't mind. In fact, I really enjoyed it. I'm someone who really enjoys anything that's different. I've yet to reveal a piece of jewelry I don't like. Jewelry In Candles impressed me with both wax tarts and created an experience that was both unique and fun!

March Means Candles, Wax, Bath Bombs, Soap, Jewelry Toys and Meals At The Dish on Parenting

I started The Dish on Parenting so I could share only the best products with you, from the companies you love and the companies you have yet to learn about. Since starting this blog, I've had the pleasure of working with great companies from Purex to Lovable Labels, Ozeri to The Pasta Shoppe, Dial to  and so much more.

Along the way, I've had the opportunity, whether it be through reviews, giveaways, or just sharing a fun and easy, family-friendly meal, to meet so many great people who I've come to know as my both my fans and bloggers who I admire.

To be honest, I thought blogging would be a cinch. Sure I have 2 kids, ages 3 and 5, a full time job, and was preparing to get married in a few months, but how much time would it really take to write a quick blog post? Just write about the products I thought people would like. Sounds easy right? Wrong. Blogging takes time, patience, and a ton of hard work.

Over time, I've learned what works and what doesn't. The most important lesson I've learned since starting The Dish on Parenting was to listen to my fans. What do they want to know more about? What are their interests? What did they like/dislike about my previous reviews? My fans, friends and family have helped me become the blogger I am today.

I wanted to do more. Give back more. Not just write about what I thought of the latest product from the companies my fans already knew about. My New Year's resolution was to pay it forward to one person a week for a year, but I wanted to go beyond that. I wanted to help both my fans and companies.

After talking with hundreds of fans, using every outlet I had, from my blog to the countless number of social media platforms I use, I learned of their interests and what they wanted to hear more about. From there, I took their interests and researched day in and day out, using every free moment I had to find the companies that best fit their specific interests.

I've met so many amazing business owners along the way. It's an exciting time for The Dish on Parenting, my fans, and the amazing companies I have the chance to work with.
